The flower works of this tea party are called “Flower Seeing Qiankun”, which was carefully created by the small tea party team: the flowers, the magnolia, the carnations and the chrysanthemums are used as the flowers to create a unique Chinese slow life work. The tea friends also tasted the old charm of the paintings of the inner snuff bottle.
Teacher Liu Guoyue said that tobacco originated in North America and Indian, and gradually introduced to Europe, Asia and other parts of the world. Snuff has the effect of eyesight and refreshment. After being introduced to China, the Chinese first used traditional medicine bottles to hold snuff. On this basis, they tried to perfect the snuff with a variety of materials and production techniques. During their use, they found that storing snuff bottles with large mouth and small bottles can ensure that they will not deteriorate, and they are easy to carry, and the style also has the traditional Chinese beauty, which is loved by snuff smokers. In the Qing Dynasty, up to the court to reach the official dig, the smell of snuff is very popular. The feudal aristocrats headed by the emperor collected a variety of valuable materials, allowing skilled craftsmen to design and manufacture snuff bottles for them. Some international collectors believe that snuff bottles are the pocket art of Chinese art and crafts.
Teacher Liu Guoyue said that the snuff bottle has various types such as blue and white porcelain, cloisonne and jade. The inner painting snuff bottle appeared in the early days of Jiaqing. It is drawn in a transparent pot with a special tiny hook brush. The original inner painting snuff bottle is a transparent glass jug with no frosted inner wall. Because the inner wall is smooth and difficult to adhere to ink and color, only simple pictures and patterns can be drawn. For example, Chinese cabbage, dragon, phoenix and simple landscapes, figures, etc. Later, the artist used iron sand and emery and water to shake back and forth on the inner surface of the snuff bottle. This made the inner wall of the snuff bottle appear milky white frosted glass, delicate and not smooth, easy to adhere to the ink color, the effect is like rice paper. The inner painting snuff bottle later appeared some fine works, and later developed into a fine art of poetry and calligraphy.
Teacher Liu Guoyue said that after the Guangxu reign, the inner painting pot process reached its peak, and many famous craft masters emerged. There are three main schools in China for painting snuff bottles: the Jingpai painting snuff bottle, the Lupai painting snuff bottle and the Qipai painting snuff bottle. Among them, Ma Shaoxuan, Ye Zhongsan, Zhou Leyuan and Wu Chang'an are the "four famous names" in the "Jingpai" paintings. There have been folk songs circulating: "When you enter the room, Ma Shaoxuan, Yasu has a total of Ye Zhongsan, Yang Chunbai Xue Zhou Leyuan, Wenwu is all Wuchang." Ma Shaoxuan is the first of the "Four Great Names". He is famous throughout the country for his painting skills of "one poem and one painting". Zhou Leyuan's interior paintings have a wide range of subjects, especially in landscape paintings, which are exquisite. Ye Zhongsan, the number of "Xinglintang Ye", is a master of painting pots in the capital, and is regarded as the three major painters of the inner painting snuff bottle with Zhou Leyuan and Ma Shaoxuan. In the sharing, Liu Guoyue also combined with the pictures to bring the famous domestic painting snuff bottle appreciation. The tea friends said that each of the paintings inside the snuff bottle works with profound cultural connotations and rich Chinese style.
During the event, Mr. Liu Guoyue gave a detailed account of the history, inheritance and development of the snuff bottle, and everyone benefited a lot. In order to express gratitude, Executive Vice President Tang Bo presented Mr. Liu Guoyue with the gift of the Fushou to the tea gift from the head of the Laoshe Teahouse. Secretary Liu Yanping will return the Bohai auction catalogue of Beijing Yanbo Culture Development Co., Ltd. (subordinate to Beijing Hanhai Auction Co., Ltd.), a subsidiary of Beijing Cultural Relics Company, to the small tea party. Everyone took a group photo.
